| Meet Catherine |
I was born in St-Eustache, Quebec and always wanted to be a veterinarian. My dad worked all over the world which meant we travelled a lot when I was young. Once it was time for me to do my university, I decided to go to Australia. What better place to study animals!
I had lived in Brisbane when we were young, so the transition was easy. I met my husband whilst studying and we got married once I finished university. I loved working as a vet and spent my time between general practice, emergency and shelter work.
In 2013, we were expecting our first child which was scary and very exciting. My husband was working overseas at the time and flying into Australia every month. Crazy, adventurous me decided to move to Laos, Asia so we could be closer together. It was an amazing time! I started working at a veterinary hospital there and saw exotic diseases that have pretty much been eradicated in Australia. My husband job ended and we decided to return to Montreal, Canada to be closure to family.
Now in 2022 we have been living in Fort McMurray, Alberta for 2 years with our 2 daughters and have been exploring the amazing beauty of this country.
